Aragonite is a mineral which is composed of calcium carbonate and can be found in shells. Its structure is dense and reminiscent of crystal. Based on photographies of shells found on the coasts of Guadeloupe and magnified with a magnifying glass, this series seeks to reproduce the poetic and unique shapes of aragonite and to capture the mesmerising patterns that can be found in nature.
